Carmella Riley is a character actor/actress in commercial film and television (TV). Best known for Modern Family, Brooklyn nine nine (99), The Crucible, Kidnap. She is a SAG/AFTRA and Television Academy /Emmy member.
Carmella was born in Chicago where she cut her teeth at the renowned Piven Theatre and the legendary Second City. In Los Angeles, she has worked extensively in film and television. Look for her in the just released Junteenth comedy Block Party and check out her recent appearances on Brooklyn 99, The Young and the Restless, I Think You Should Leave by Tim Robinson, How To Get Away With Murder and Modern Family. She has performed onstage across the US and has appeared in several dozen national commercials. You can catch her voicing several characters on the PBS animated series Nature Cat as well as “Barb” on the new DreamWorks animated series Doug Unplugs. She is a proud member of SAG/AFTRA and the Television Academy. Carmella has been privileged to work along side Academy Award winners Viola Davis, Daniel Day Lewis, Robin Williams, Halle Berry and Winona Ryder.
