Carmella Riley started her career in Chicago, where she cut her teeth at the renowned Piven Theatre and the legendary Second City. She has performed in commercials, film, television and theater in Chicago, New York and Los Angeles. TV credits include Modern Family, Brooklyn 99, The Young and the Restless, Alexa & Katie, and I Think You Should Leave with Tim Robinson. She has voiced characters in several animated shows including Nature Cat on PBS and the Apple Plus series Doug Unplugs. You might also recognize her from any of the many dozen national commercials in which she has appeared. She attended Northwestern University where she earned a degree in Radio/Television/Film with minors in Theology and Gender Studies. In Chicago, she is a teaching artist at The Piven Theater Workshop as well as at Actors Training Center, where she is also head of the On-Camera division, overseeing curriculum and development. Carmella is a proud member of SAG/AFTRA and the Television Academy and has been privileged to work alongside Academy Award winners Viola Davis, Daniel Day Lewis, Robin Williams, Halle Berry, Don Cheadle, JK Simmons and Winona Ryder.
